If total cash/monetary instruments exceed USD 100,000 equivalent, proof of origin is required. Exit note: taking foreign cash exceeding USD 10,000 equivalent out of Kazakhstan is prohibited under Presidential Decree No. 830 — amounts above this must be transferred through banking channels.
